Onze klant is dé internationale specialist in het ontwikkelen, produceren en vermarkten van draaibanken en freesmachines.
Zij levert deze o.a. aan de metaalverwerkende industrie, OEM en constructiebedrijven.
De kracht zit in de jarenlange product- en applicatie-expertise en de betrokkenheid van de medewerkers.
Het bedrijf leunt op een goede service, een innovatieve instelling en bovenal kwalitatief hoogstaande machines.
Ter uitbreiding van de Belgische organisatie, gevestigd in Leuven, zoeken wij enthousiaste kandidaten (m/v) voor de functie van:

Goal:

  • Assist in managing the European Parts Center (EPC) to ensure high customer satisfaction whilst optimizing profit and loss.

Responsibilities (to assist):

  • Efficiently manage the organisation to meet defined KPI targets.
  • Enable the Order Administration, Purchasing and Warehousing teams, to work efficiently and meet their deadlines and targets.
  • Strive to deliver the highest standard in customer satisfaction, to external but also internal customers.
  • Ensure that customer parts orders from all over Europe and beyond, can be fulfilled, processed, and delivered according to set targets.
  • Optimize P&L by managing stock value, forecasting, cost control, efficiency enhancement, exploring opportunities, organisational improvements, people management and more.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other departments, Mazak offices, dealers, and partners.
  • Support Mazak Parts organisations in other countries and collaborate with Part Centres across the world.
  • Responsibility to ensure that export control rules and regulations are followed.
  • Own a deep understanding of the part system, warehouse system and any other system or tools. And master the link between them.
  • End approval and responsibility on outgoing and incoming invoices.
  • Organise and participate in various projects.
  • Watch over health and safety on the work floor.
  • Continuously improve and optimize the organisation, its operation and profit & loss balance. See the bigger picture across borders.
  • Contribute to improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction, not only  in EPC but all over Europe.

Gezocht profiel

  • Master’s degree, by preference in a supply chain or engineering subject.
  • 5 years’ experience at a similar level in an international supply chain organisation.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. Good French speaking ability is a bonus.
  • Efficient leadership and management skills, whilst ensuring that targets and deadlines are met.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in order to make measured judgments under pressure.
  • Customer minded, strong attention to detail, improvement attitude and a commitment to quality.
  • Good computer skills. Minded to digitization and automation. Good operating knowledge of Excel. Experience in working with an ERP.  Understanding of an automated warehouse is a bonus.
  • Good understanding of international shipping and its rules and regulations.
  • Flexibility in working hours when required. Even if occasionally on a national holiday or during a weekend. Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Ability to grow into management position.

Supervised by and reports to the EPC Manager.
